Wednesday, March 18: Be sure to complete World War II Socrative Code is 724852. Complete until you have a 100%!
Thursday, March 19: Complete WWII Maps of European Theater and Pacific Theater. Resources maps are on the WWII Website. The goal is to become familiar with WWII geography before we start discussions on battles.
Friday, March 20: Complete WWII Battle Flow Charts for the European and Pacific Theaters. This seemed to challenge a few people in class. Read the presentations carefully. Match the SIGNIFICANCE to the battle. Do not get uptight over exact casualties or dates. The goal is to develop a general knowledge of the flow of WWII and match it with the geography of WWII on the maps.
While you finish these items this week, I will work on some story time video to interpret the presentations. Please be my team mate on this...read the presentations for learning rather than just skim for answers. I will then help you interpret the deeper meanings through some videos.
As you read, keep Mr. Weber's philosophical paper in mind, "Are the individual citizens of societies responsible for the actions of their leaders?" You may change your ideas as we learn more. This will be due at the end of the unit. So, take your time and put in some deep thinking. He is trying to get you to think at the college level! Mr. Weber's Rubric (Click Here)
Spare time, you can always work on your major research project for the semester. Several people asked yesterday, "what about finals if we never come back?" Well...one thing will be the research project project. The other would be the SLO Pretest we did on Socrative at the beginning of the year.
Nothing is ideal in this situation....BUT...we can learn some history while we are making some history and memories in 2020!!!
Wednesday, March 18: Go to https://theruch.weebly.com/market-structure.html.

Thursday, March 19: Wednesday, March 18: Go to https://theruch.weebly.com/market-structure.html.
Read about Oligopoly and Perfect Competition in the presentation.
Friday, March 20: Create a Google Doc or just use a sheet of paper to create a 4 square graphic organizer. Label each square: Monopoly, Perfect Competition, Oligopoly, and Monopolistic Competition. Then, add details from the presentation in each appropriate square. Describe the number of firms, barriers to entry, elasticity, and substitutes in each square. Hint: use the organizer we made in class on your last day!!
Also add any other details relevant to each market structure.
